South Lake Tahoe--Snowglobe Music Festival Food Vending
We are looking for a handful of hardworking people to help us sell food at the Snowglobe Music Festival this New Year's in SLT.
We have a business that sells food at major music festivals, art shows and events across the country. Our "season" is typically from April to October, but we're giving Snowglobe a shot this year. Most of our regular crew is either back at school, or back home in Atlanta. We're going to be looking for a few folks to come on the road with us come springtime too, so if you want to travel the country and be apart of some of the summer's biggest music festivals, all while making cash money, this could be a good opportunity to try it out.
Duties will/could include:
-food prep
-cooking
-cleaning
-running a register
-heavy lifting
-long hours on your feet, in the outdoors, working to live music
Ideal Candidates will:
-Have good hygiene and clean appearance (tattoos, piercing, dreads, facial hair all OK, but just be clean and presentable)
-strong work ethic
-ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy objects
-good communication skills
-be able to "roll with the punches"
-great attitude
Please send a picture, your age, current employer, relevant experience, a bit about yourself and why you think you'd be good at the job to choiceconcessions.jobs@gmail.com. NO RESUMES OR COVER LETTERS!
Reliable means to get to the show is a must. No matter the weather. This is our main source of income and we take the business very seriously. We manage to have a lot of fun, but we also work very hard and expect the same from you. If business sucks, you might get cut; if business rocks, you will be expected to work. If you're looking for a free ticket to the event, or think you can show up under the influence (that includes 'just getting high', I don't care if it is California) please don't waste our time or yours.
Compensation is $10/hour plus tip share, cash. Bonuses for exceptional performance possible.
Show dates are the 29, 30 and 31st. Times still TBD, but I'd guess roughly 8 hours a day, starting around 2:00PM.
