But I'll be un-gimped in a mere couple of weeks!(Well at least I'll be starting to ski groomers and such...)

Me too! Going to the Doc tomorrow to get the results of my MRI on my left knee. Hope it's good news!

Good luck Jeremy, hopefully its nothin but some annoying pain. Got good news on my Shoulder today too.
I'm sitting here with a cast on my left hand due to a rather unfriendly encounter with slush pile at high speed. Prognosis is a broken metacarpal and a partially torn tendon. Luckily, I don't need surgery, but I have to wear this cast for a month, then rehab the thumb.
Do you know how hard it is to do stuff without an opposable thumb?!?

Thanks bro. So what's up with your shoulder? I know you said you hurt it, but what is the final word.Originally Posted by Theodore
GOOD NEWS! I just discussed my MRI with my doc and I have a bone bruise. No tissue damage or torn ligaments. Wow that makes me feel good. I won't be bashing any bumps or hucking any cliffs, but I will be skiing. We'll see how it feels this weekend!

I'm not, but I have the potential to become one any day in abot 2 or 3 hours if a stupid piece of vegetable I didn't chew well enough gets stuck halfway down my system.
You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.
I'm like 5 months now. It'll be 5 1/2 ish when I ski.Originally Posted by Kellie

Well, the back x-rays came back negative, which I suppose is a good thing. Waiting on Doc to see if he's going to order an MRI...![]()

Is gimpy a gimp?
I know only too well. Add me to the gimp list please Plake.Originally Posted by snow_slider

I became a gimp shortly after discovering this board. I've had plenty of opportunity to post and lurk and such, now I really look forward to the opportunity to meet some of you out on the mountain, and someday actually post some stoke and participate here in a non gimp manner. I have to say, though that this virtual place has really helped the healing process. Maggot Gimps RULE!
