I watched a lot of the replay of that with my daughter. Weird that they call it parallel slalom, that was a short GS course.

As of this year, it's just "parallel", not "parallel slalom". The course setting specs have traditionally been bigger than slalom and smaller than GS, but I don't know what this year's update was in that regard.

Petra handled that steep transition perfectly today. Shiffrin was near perfect, and the Norwegians got ate up by it.

After today, Shiffrin has podiumed 108 times out of 194 career starts. 56%
