Why do you want to lower the point awarded to the winning athletes? To do one traditional race with only 2 SL runs you win 100 points.
In a Pararel Slalom you have to race a qualification run, and win 5 more runs to get your 100 points? I thinks that fair?
I dont agree that you should get 100 points for a win at the City Events, but thats a totally different topic of Parallel Slalom Vs City Event.
That should be saved for the FIS/Race subform.

Because I think 100 points for a parallel event where there is just one run in the semi's and final's to decide the winner is a bit much.

Love this one. Another great thing about she and Vonn is that neither are really great all-round "natural" athletes, witness Shiffrin's tramp work. (Shiffrin probably is more of an all-rounder than Vonn.) They got there with really hard work, even for subtle things like Shiffrin working to crank a pullup.

Shiffrin is impressive to watch ski. Fast lady.

It would be impressive to see her step it up when she is done racing and take after some other ski team members and go rip Alaskan spines like the best of them. Straightline Speed Demons like Nobis (just watched The Realm)

Definitely not a PSIA skier, who cares, if it works for her it works. Yeah, you can make a case for teaching PSIA on some mound in PA, but when you take that to bigger mountains that doesn't matter.
