Lots of ego not alot of skill. The demos are weak and static. You would get crushed in a nastar course. Lol

I don't know about the rest of you but I'd really like to hear what all of the other racers are doing so poorly that they are finishing behind shiffrin by large margins.

Is that possible for an American ski racer? Regardless, he would show up on FIS.

Based on those videos it's pretty much impossible that he would be anything but DFL in a FIS race. 100 points is not that kind of skier.

And no, you can't ski FIS without a USSA license unless you are foreign.

Even then, there aren't enough FIS races around the EC to make it a worthwhile season, especially if you want to ski in college since speed events don't matter. You'd have to go to Canada too.

Anyways, to answer the question on what other racers are doing just comes down to making more mistakes.

Not clicking with Pugski would be a positive indicator, particularly if the question relates to actual race technique.

They'll go off on you. I've seen it, a proverbial internet blanket party. I'm surprised one hasn't already. Don't rile them. Just sayin. So lets talk more Mikela, see if we can locate some bikini clade photos of her, and plan the painful execution of that dude in picture with her. Peace.
Not that I am qualified to assess but this must have been delivered with proper alignment because I laughed out loud.

And thanks Vt-Freeheel for the additional photos.

    1. Getting over that outside ski, and forward, quickly and smoothly.

    2. Fitness. Part gym based, and in part due to her better technique, she is able to perform at a relatively higher level on lower parts of courses.

Yeah, I was pretty sure FIS racing for an American would be impossible without USSA, I just didn't want to make the blanket statement as I've never looked into it (but AFAIK it was required and everyone who raced FIS was in USSA, unless they were Canuck/Euro).

Ha, if you go back and look at that post I'm pretty sure he removed the line about his supposed FIS points...

USSA membership or not, you need a FIS license, and there is not one registered under his name, not active, not ever.
I love that he claimed he was a 100 point FIS SL racer, and then erased it once he was called out on it.
Maybe he can change his name on here once again.

Note... My last post was supposed to have a winky. I'm not really that interested in the details. 🙄

Facts change all the time. For example, the "fact" that you were a sub-100 FIS racer appears to be an objective fact that is no longer a fact.

I met some real life Racers "US Ski Team" in Sandy when I was hanging out with people from Gordy Camp. They were pretty cool. And not pretentious at all.

Never once talked about alignment or Technique. Just good lines skied

I just googled Shiffrin for a couple pictures. Did not see anything I feel the need to post

Mikela's turn is to Tigers swing, as Josh Matt's turn is to Jim Furyk's swing.

    Dunno.

I have talked with similar folk, and they have been low-key and cool. And into technique, conditioning, and alignment.

Those are your opinions, not facts. Facts in this case would be measurements and quantifiable stats. What you put forth is your opinion of what caused actions. You appear to be unqualified to express an opinion on this matter. And you appear to have lied about your credentials. Yet you try to force others to disprove your opinion on the basis that your opinion is fact.

I bet all of pudwhackas private lessons are sooo impressed with his sub-100pt FIS standing. *snicker*

Poor guy better take yet another hiatus from TGR....Maybe change his name again.

More like Jim Furyk’s caddy. Or his caddy’s caddy. That guy was hugely successful.

If you guys want another laugh since this thread has gone off the rails... Josh, which resort has tougher terrain? Squaw or Stowe? ;-)
