Cracked a few ribs years ago, that still bug me at times. Live with it is all I know.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

There are some newer surgical options for rib fixation that are becoming more and more popular even for isolated single rib fractures. These were previously only done with multiple rib fractures and the associated breathing issues.

Keep in mind that all these procedures are extremely invasive and require incisions through multiple large muscle groups. So unless this becomes a real issue the pain + complication + the cost of surgery are not worth it.

I'm not sure if the fact that you’re already "healed" changes some of your options. Not my area of expertise.
