Anyone else see the two guys drop the biggun in Wolverine Cirque today?

Watched two dudes hit Pierre's (I think?) out in Wolverine Cirque today. I had a sweet vantage point - watched it happen from across the ridge as I skinned up Wolverine bowl with the UAC class I was taking. The drops were ri-fucking-diculous. Looked like there were at least two camera men below.

First guy hit it moderately clean - popped out of his bombhole lickety split and laid down some fat arcs. Second guy backslapped more, but was up and at 'em in a few seconds.

Anyone know who the culprits were?

After they hit it, a bunch of locals put on an exhibition. Watched 3 guys straightline/huck burly lines. Pretty sick.

That would explain the skiers likeness to medieval warriors.

    Not sure exactly...I'd say noonish.

And just to confirm, it was the cliff that Pierre dropped in High Life (i went back to the dvd and verified last night).

He's still in the air in that shot, so he doesn't have a crater yet. (Unless you're talking about what looks like the remains of a crater from a previous day?)

Also, isn't that guy taking it a lot smaller than Pierre did? I think Pierre took it much more fall-line for more vert.

I actually don't see anyone in the air in that shot. It looks like hes skiing away from the crater. If the dude is still inthe air, then the bombhole is from the first guy who it.

edit: and they hit it from the same spot as pierrebut different angle. pierre also did it with a bit more speed.

edit2: thanks grizzle for pointing him out.

    Stump--
Lookers left--red jacket. And Phunk--I think you're right, but it all just depends how fast homeboy is going. Kind of tough to tell from this angle.

id have to argue this skier went bigger than pierre. pierres line went through the pine trees lower down on the cliff and his lz was roughly the same spot. anyone have both pics to compare? either way, you have to have a big sack to drop that.

I revisited the DVD last night, Pierre launched from teh same spot as these guys. He laid down two turns and hit the point. These guys stopped, packed out a runway where Pierre turned, and launched at a bit slower speed due to shorter runin, in my opinion. I think it was basically just a different angle, and pierre hit it bigger. but who knows.

Yeah, I need a Depends. The only way I would do that is by complete accident. And I wouldn't survive.
