I vote for system because flowers or insects are what I think of when I think Macro. Nice one.

ha, yeah i know. unfortunately i did not drag a tripod to the darwin range and the macro-function of my sigma only works from 200-300mm. no way to get that sharp, even boosting the isos wasnt enough.

other than that, very cool shots, especially advres-# one. love how the three branches with different levels of unsharpness create a triangle around the berry...

Systemoverblowed for me....I like the depth of field and it's simple. I would have voted for freaks but the DOF was too shallow for the subject for my tastes.
