NWS:A STRONG PACIFIC STORM WILL MOVE INLAND TONIGHT SPREADING SNOW ACROSS THE UPPER SNAKE AND EASTERN HIGHLANDS LATE THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES EARLY MONDAY MORNING. TOTAL ACCUMULATION BY MONDAY EVENING COULD RANGE BETWEEN 6 TO 10 INCHES ABOVE 6000 FEET. STRONG WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH ARE ALSO POSSIBLE ALONG MOUNTAIN PASSES AND OPEN AREAS CAUSING EXTENSIVE BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. HEAVY SNOW SHOULD DIMINISH TO SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS BY MONDAY EVENING.
