One of the best scenes in the series.

there was a time when my local channels were red hot from 1pm on. I scheduled semesters around this lineup:

    Barnaby
    Cannon
    Five 0
    Magnum

Fire in the fireplace, accessories from your favorite deli, pack of smokes and few tubes. done.

Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, Taxi and WKRP all in row took up way too many college afternoons.

I loved me some Quincy M.E.
-truly ahead of it's time crime deduction and humor, plus he railed hot babes and looked like a turtle

Also a huge fan of Tales of the Gold Monkey

    I also liked Small Wonder,

Tipp posted about it in the past - wish I could get a remastered version because it's great, but the torrent quality sucks.

It had everything a 10 year old me wanted:
-float planes, treasure, spies, smugglers, Nazis, girls in revealing clothing, alcoholic buddies and bars, a talking dog and Roddy McDowell
    (a bit like Indiana Jones)

I've considered buying them, as I can't find the episodes anywhere,
but they are expensive and I'm the only person I know who even remembers the show.

edit: SHIT! they are now available for cheap.

Roddy was cool and all though, too.

But seriously, sounds cool, I'll have to check it out.

You forgot Get Smart and the before mentioned All in the Family and of course Gilligans Island, perhaps your bong was clogged so you forgot about those.
You know, you can swear on this site. Fuck, shit bitch. See?

No those 4 were on in a row for I think two years weekday afternoons 3:00-5:00. Seemed like two years anyways, I was a little stoned at the time though.

Gilligan would've been bonus though. For part of that time "The Wld Wild West" followed those shows, you kinda had to watch that. Then Jeopardy.

edit: "The Wild Wild West", that show was so trippy.

"Season 3.Episode 2.On a mission for President Grant, agent West travels to Fort Savage to meet with a Major Jason and help prevent a revolution in Canada that Irish outlaw Sean O'Reilley has plans to incite."

    Damn Irishmen! Damn Canadians!

Wait, why are we trying to stop an Irish-led Canadian insurrection? Who cares, let's do this thing!!

^^^it must have been pretty silly when they were shooting the dogfight scenes in that show, sitting in a fake plane that was rocking back and forth like one of those planes in front of the grocery store, trying to keep a straight face.

Here in Metro De-troit we have a channel plays all old stuff, I DVR it for the kids but end up watching with'em. Dukes of Hazzard, Batman, Good Times, Fat Albert, The Jeffersons, Three Stooges (used to be a tv 38 staple, 1.5 hours of Saturday gone...MASH is on non stop. If they'd only resurrect The Little rascals, hoooo baby.

Death Van, thanks for the link. loved the Golden Monkey.

the first post made me think of Hill Street Blues.
"fuck off you asshat gaper shit for brains fucktard wanker." - Jesus Christ
"She was tossing her bean salad with the vigor of a Drunken Pop princess so I walked out of the corner and said.... "need a hand?"" - Odin
"everybody's got their hooks into you, fuck em....forge on motherfuckers, drag all those bitches across the goal line with you." - (not so) ill-advised strategy

Fuck guy, 100 posts in 7 years, I need to be reminded of shit sometimes.

edit: I just read back (fortunately your 100-post oeuvre made it fairly non time-consuming) and do you realize we were talking about that in 2007? Milk and cookies forever, though.

I just bumped the best thread we were both in, it's a classic.
