Although I’m not convinced that Canon has the best compact cameras anymore (and I’m pretty much a Canon guy), that looks like a decent deal.

It's pretty clear that the Sony RX100 V is the dominant compact around, but it's also around $1k. The G9Xmk2 gets some pretty top reviews and recommendations in the sub $500 range. Canon was selling refurbs for $330 (plus local tax) back in February, so I'm pretty satisfied with the deal.
