    D3200 wont turn on.

So I'm a photo jong. This is my first dslr. Since getting it about a month ago I've taken probably 100 or pictures. Yesterday I tried to turn it on with no luck. I charged the battery and still nothing. Help?

And chance you have a grip? I had a shitty grip with my t2i that lost some screws and it would lose connection with the batts. Once I figured it out I glued the plate on where it screwed onto the base and solved all the problems. Many cameras need the battery door to close to work. Have you really tried pushing on it while trying to cycle it on???

If not... Sounds like a warranty issue.

    I only have one battery?

Thanks for the idea system. No luck though. I contacted Nikon and am waiting to hear back.

I had a similar issue with my point and shoot Nikon. I took the battery out and let it sit for 5+ days to drain the battery completely. I then put the battery back into the camera and plugged in the charger and it magically came to life. My guess is the camera needed to reset by taking all power sources away. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it worked...
