Wow, some ridiculous deals. Maybe this will bring the used 5D2 market down closer to $1000....

Just so no one is surprised like I was, the loyalty discounts don't combine with the site discounts. The deal's still good, but I was kind of bummed I couldn't double dip when I first found out.

That 5dII is might tempting. If only I weren't so broke. I might be able to afford the camera, but what good is a camera without a lens...

Canon still has some refurbished 10-22's for $550 and 15-85's in stock at the refurb store for around $510 for those of us still shooting crops. Picked up a 10-22.

Noticed they are now showing the 10-22 out of stock again but keep an eye on it because they have been going in and out of stock for the couple days it took me to decide to pull the trigger and I think the sale is on till Friday. Keep hoping the 50 1.4 shows up in there again for $255.

If you're willing to do a little work (like buying/flipping a refurbished body), you can pick up some of these lenses SUPER cheap. They're 50% off when you buy a qualifying DSLR.

Edit: Looks like they took some of the 50% off lenses down from the sale, and have limited the options. Still some good deals though.

Greatly appreciate the heads-up. Just pulled trigger on my first non-point & shoot. After reading through the beginner threads, it sounded like the EOS Rebel T3i-S would be a good place to start. It comes w/ the 18-55mm IS II lens and then I picked up an EF-S 55-250mm IS lens for half off. Pumped to get started.
