Definitely interested in getting at least one.
The Spray paint TGR ones look excellent. Keep up the good designs!

Just talked to frozen regarding the use of TGR logos. As long as we are making these up for our own personal use and not selling them for a profit, we can use the logos. So that means no selling them @PMgear or anything

Count me in for one..... Freeride preferred, but geeky ok too.

good work so far plake, count me in for either kind.

Had no intention to do that since this idea was totally spawned by you guys. This is just a cool thing.Originally Posted by Plakespear

Okay. Got the answer back from the guys at Verge. The prices are just about the same, I need to call back and ask about different styles, let y'all know later. I'll kick down a few bucks on each to have my shop logo on the sleeve![]()
Count me in for at least one. Just let me know what the detail are (when they're available, cost, etc.).
Of all the muthafuckas on earth, you the muthafuckest.
Count me in for a jersey of the non-freeride kind.
I was amazed at how light and fluffy the powdery snow was and at how the challenge never ended.

I'd be up for a DH/FR kind.
Okay, I talked to Voler this afternoon. Details about design and order as follows.
Design
Plake, as it stands, Voler would consider the design a two color. White does not count as a color, and halftones do not count as a color (ligher or darker shades of the selected colors). Black counts as a color. Should we consider using black to add the 'gravel' SPLATter stuff that's on the Bro topsheets to complete the 'globe' background you've included? Black would help make the logos stand out, too.
Front and back panels CAN be different. Just for you, Yentna. No back pockets on the DH/FR jersey, so we might want to duplicate any important pocket art behind the pockets so it's still there on the baggy jerseys. No side panels on DH/FR jersey either, FYI.
Ordering
Voler allows you to mix sizes and styles in your minimums. This would allow maggots and maggettes to select men's or women's fit and sizing, club or race cuts, short sleeve or sleeveless, for the "geek" jersey. For "baggy" jersey, choices would be sizing, cut, long sleeve, short sleeve, solid fabric or micromesh fabric. The concensus seems to be we'd like to do both "geek" and "baggy," so we would need to do a minimum of 25 "geek" and a minimum 25 "baggy." At least 15 of those "baggy" must be long sleeve.
The shop Cornholio and I ride out of is a Voler customer in good standing. The Voler rep tells me he can get us product by the beginning of May if we get our art together and a 50% deposit by the middle of March. That's in two weeks, kids.
Otherwise, we shoot to get the art and deposit together ASAP, and expect delivery in June or July.
Pricing as follows:
2 color design short sleeve/sleeveless "geek": $57.25
3 color design short sleeve/sleeveless "geek": $67.50
2 color design long sleeve "baggy": $50.00
2 color design short sleeve "baggy": $47.00
3 color design long sleeve "baggy": $53.00
3 color design short sleeve "baggy": $50.00
The only "hidden" charge is shipping. Assuming a bulk delivery to a central location, and a Tyvek USPS envelope with one or two jerseys sent to each person who orders, I'm guessing five to ten bucks per order should cover shiping.
Task Breakdown
Again, if we decide on Voler, I'm willing to take orders, collect funds, pony up the deposit, coordinate odoring process, make the final payment, and coordinate jersey shipment.
Plake would be responsible to coordinate/finalize art, and potentially talk with Voler art guru. Cornholio would help with maggot ordering and maggot shipping. If enough maggots would like to see sizing samples, a maggot in a central location (read: highest concentration of jersey-ordering maggots) would need to step up and host a sizing party, and receive/return sizing samples from/to Voler.
Proposed Next Steps
1. Look at Verge pricing/options/ship dates. Decide if we'd like to go ahead with this jersey mayhem, and if so, pick a manufacturer.
2. Post a polling thread for "geek" and "baggy" jersey types to see who would be in on what style of jersey. This would let us know how close we are to reaching minimum order requirements.
3. Put the hammer down on design development and artwork with some deadlines. Vote on design elements, if necessary.
That's a lot of info. Sorry to overwhelm, but this is a pretty great chance to show some maggot solidarity and provide some good advertising for PMGear and TGR.
What am I missing?

I am in for one of the geeky kind.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Yo, Scoober, I'm a thread poll JONG. Maybe you or someone with the polling skillz could start a new thread to see who would be interested in what jersey ("geeky" or "baggy").
Would that work? I mean, what if somebody wanted to by a geeky and baggy? Could they vote twice? Or post in the thread that they wanted more than one jersey, one of both type, etc.? The poll could show people's screen name, too, right?
This thread is gonna get pretty cluttered if people keep posting their votes here.![]()

Done here: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=25720
yes - people can select more than one style & it will show screen names.
sizes can get done later after we know who's in for what style.

The poll idea is good, but the options are still limited. I've posted it there, but there is no option for "club fit". Nor is there an option for solid fabric or micromesh fabric for the DH/FR jerseys.
If wintermittent is willing to take orders, would it make more sense to PM/email him with our preferences?

Ooh, now we've lost you. The poll is just to confirm we have enough interest for a minimum order. Don't worry about sizes, fit, and fabric yet.Originally Posted by Skiingbear
