    Paging Techs: 3.5 or 4.1 on Made'ns

Anybody have K2's 2005 Tech manuel handy. What do drill bit do they recommend for Made'n and SPs. Since there's no metal my instincts say 3.5, but I only go on instincts when I'm mounting customers gear, not my own. I don't have a manuel and I'm too lazy to call K2. Thanks.

Its not just instincts it is the LAW. No metal = 3.5. Metal = 4.1. Now rules on when to tap or not are different. But by my rules, tapping is just a waste of time

3.5 mm bit. On skis that I wasn't 100% sure of the construction, I've drilled a 3.5mm hole and inspected the chips (while leaving the jig on the ski). If I find metal, its no issue to drill out the hole to 4.1 mm.

If you can't find a guy named Manuel in OR, you really are lazy.
