soli was fun today, boilerplate for the first few hours, then by 11am it was softening up a bit. we didn't go back to honeycomb, and I left at noon to come to work. definitely spring conditions...

Gov John Huntsman so not possesing the skills to ride a 188 bro. I tried. For the record he rode a gapic metron m10 178. I was really hoping to set him up and let him know how I felt about motorized vehicles flying in a non motorized wilderness, but the kept him pretty much sheltered and away from the peons.
It's all good. I am sure he realizes assinine liquor laws don't help a tourist based economy. I thought about writing down all my bitches on paper and wadding it up under his footbed.
So I rode the bros and all I can say is
    HOLY CORN SLAYER
oh yeah I won the non/unprofessional portion of the avvy beacon drill comp
Will be at quad at 11:00.
    Thanks for the stickers SG.

Where were you SFB? We got to Eagle at about 11:07, yeah, we were dawdling.

Today was sunshine and slush, crust was found here and there. Although the place is vacant, there were more people today than this time last year.

Next Sunday should be fun, plans for family barbeques and slush skiing are in place. Look for the corral of maggots in the lower lot.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!! (Monster truck reverb)

Tomorrow is the last day for lift served Solitude turns, (Or lack thereof). The BobMc family, MacDaddy family, and Lebowskis will all be in attendance. Plans are for a meeting with the Easter Bunny at 9:30, then drinking and grilling the rest of the day.

We've got a cooler full of burgers, chips, salads, and assorted goodies. All are invited, c'mon up and mourn the end of the season.

It was good skiing w/ yous all.
here are a few shots from the soli LDS

The Easter Bunny don't ride no sleighs w/ reindeer. He arrived via blue airplane tipped rippin sticks

    Lebowski corn harvesting

The day was pretty much about jibbin and groomer rippin.
Oh yeah a hell of a lot of partyin.
    Bdog

Kdog took off the work vest and got in on the fun

And a final shot of a few of the hardcore locals/employees partyin till 4:20
after the final P-horn lift ride.

Thanks to all who work/ride, reside and otherwise enjoy this Soulfull Special Solitudeal place.
And the rest of you Hard Chargin aggro/attitude scrubbing bubbles.....

Yeesh. Okay, you can come. Just stop at the guardhouse, show your papers, and make sure to bring a treat for the German Shepherds.

I want to go back to the solisunday where we were all sitting around on the snow somewhere off of the summit lift, talking of dreams and aspirations. A unicorn drifted through the forest on our left and we all sang to each other while holding hands.

Then I totally got up and shredded the hell out of the virgin pow before anyone else could.

    Yah, that was cool.

That was pretty much the only day I ever slept in on a powder day (it was the day after Frozen's party) and I never even heard the phone ring. What time did we go skiing, finally? Like One O'Clock? Two, maybe?

It was lame, whatever it was.

So...anyone gonna make it to the "Taste of the Nation" this year (Sunday 8/6, 12:00-4:00)? I'll be there. It's pretty pricy though, I think it's $70 this year for a walk-up ticket, although it's for a good cause and I guess it might be tax-deductible.

I wish, but the timing was not right this year
We are driving to SanDog on Tue for 9 days.
So Im trading fantastic food wine and company for FUKING BEACH TIME YEAH!

bitter sweet I guess, if I think about it!
have fun eat and drink lots!

BTW if any one cares the $70.00 is very well worth it -only if they have the "open" wine tent again.
