The boy had his first day on the Bros, he slayed some dragons, middle slope, and the black forest. The Bros changed him from a groomer lover to a powder charger.

One of my compatriots rode up with a troller today, word is probably no Fantasy for the rest of the season. Rain rain, ain't going away. I'd like to get up there again this year, but I'm happy to have busted my cherry at least once.

The rest of the mountain skied pretty well today, until the sun caught certain aspects later in the day. Hopefully the crowds will go away soon, if you weren't there prompt this morning you found yourself parking on the road.

Took an EGP lap with a mag, not sure your board name but good skiing with you. Did Iceman and Tipp ski this weekend? Did they spend the weekend sequestered in the condo watching it snow while drinking wine and cooking up delectable culinary delights?

So your saying fantasy ridge is closed due to too much ice
and the ice skating rink is closed due to too much snow
    Ahh Sillytude
anyhow props to whoever decided to keep the lower crystal point woop de woop traverse monkey gate shut so there are a few more good turns fall line to be had out there.
Those fools skied a bit between wineing and dining and safety briefings on the icepalace back deck

Now the word is they're hoping to open Fantasy within a week depending on how much snow they get out of the next system.

Props to soli patrol for gettin after it last week. Everclosed peak open, fantasy reopened
Bustin out highway last tues for an untracked upper silly fork to escape the tracked out multitude was sweet, like the old days. Not a lot between shot 12 and 23 looked like it would ski real well but the upper boundries all the way down the guild line are filled in pretty nice
My bro shot a nice edit of fantasy control work

Yo Hutch makin it out again before the shoulder surg?

They are getting to be a little annoying. Last Sunday they only got ONE gate open. It took them till noon to get the skiers right Summit Honeycomb gate open. NOTHING else opened all day, they even had the upper and lower Scree Slope gates closed. Milk Run never opened, Powderhorn gates never opened, Eagle gates never opened.

There was a mass of sidestepping humanity once they finally opened the Summit gate, by only having the one gate open they pushed everyone in the resort to the same terrain.

As the year has gone on it's getting worse and worse. Next weekend will probably be the last of the Summit for the year. I don't remember getting a discount on my pass cause they planned on trying to save money at the end of the year.

Even though I love Solitude, I'll be doing some thinking when it comes time to buy a pass next season.

Today was fantastic. Everything but Fantasy and EGP got open, conditions were stellar. We had guys from Snowbird dropping lines in the Dragons, guys from Alta pulling Solitude locals out of the unplowed portion of the lot.

I can't believe there is only one more weekend left.

Thanks to the Soli-Sunday crew, I had a GREAT day. You guys should really change your name to the Alta-Saturday crew but I'll leave tradition alone. That was the best day I've ever had at Soli by far. Especially the parking lot antic's....

I do have to ad, being identified by a stranger on one of the early hikes as an "Alta Guy" was pretty funny. I should have told him I'm more of an Alta Girl but I didn’t want to freak anyone out.

Yesterday was an awesome closing day for sure. Glad the rain let up when it did. Hot laps through the park had me laughing all day, especially Fasty's snowlerblade spread eagles whilst wearing a kilt...awesome.

Doing postcard straightlines with little Bobmc and the mini Macdaddys and later seeing them win Solisunday achievement awards was also sweet. So cool watching the torch get passed on to the next generation of Solisunday rippers.

And Bobmc can make a mean pulled pork. So good. Already looking forward to the reconvening of Solisunday 2011-2012 edition.

Don't spend nearly as much time there anymore but it was great hangin with the mags the last day. With the exception of Ice and Buzz most of the crew was there. Damn glad to see at least spread eagle made it up PH for the final 4:20 run of the season, while the rest of the fools mailed he last run in from the parking lot natties and pulled pork sammies in hand
Need to get the icegrom togather with the mc grom and rest of those minirippers.
Here's a little blated soli stoke from a few good days i had there this season. Including my Bday
Blessed are those who get to ski copious amounts of fresh pow on their day of birth.
Like always if your not into watching bums slay the pow with helmets attached to their heads or down with the pumkins don't push play just move along

I'm just a beater that boards there and attempts to ski there as well. Over the years I just kinda do my own thing and don't try to keep up with the crew anymore. I'm just out to enjoy myself.
I do enjoy when Fartbag takes me out somewhere to challenge me on the 2 planks, but other than that I just do what I do.
And it is actually kinda nice to be called by my real name these days.
The Buzzworthy a decade ago is not the Ron I am these days.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

You know I'm a fixture there, Dibs. Every year I toy with the idea of moving over to the "other" canyon. Every year I end up with a Solitude pass. My boy is on the cheap pass for this and another year, after that I may have to look at economic possibilities.

I picked up a Thursday, Saturday, Sunday pass again. Can't use the Thursday, but I'll be there every Saturday and Sunday. I'm sure I'll see you there, .

About 10-14 years from now this guy right here will be ripping around Solitude:

He came about a month early today, 4lbs 4 ounces. Most ripping skiers I've met are pretty small dudes so he's got a leg up already. Heck, he's barely bigger than Phunk.
