The "pledging" has yet to begin, we still will need our skis carried up Evergreen. Jack and I were actually thinking of maybe a rope off the waist of Fartbag, knots tied in the rope and he'll tow us all up Evergreen.

I wouldn't do it any other way. I'll be wearing an expedition sized pack as well, with my shovel and probe strapped to the outside of it. If I wear my beacon outside of my coat would that improve the look?

Anybody gonna be up today? I'll keep an eye out for the debaucherous crowd in the parking lot and ask for change.

You wearing the same green coat as last year? Were you on the blue 188 Bros? If so, I saw you under Eagle, yelled and waited at the top for a bit.

    Be around next weekend?

    A. Holy crap, what a day!

    B. Holy crap, what a crowd!

I got there at 10:00 today, and had to park on the road. There were lift lines at pretty much every lift. When the Summit opened, big smiles were all around.

They were bombing Honeycomb when I left, hopefully it opens tomorrow. Regardless, it should be good tomorrow as well.

Snowin' pretty hard up here and has been since maybe 5:00 or so, I dunno about Honeycomb tomorrow. Should be a nice day, though.

    Tomorrow we gotta hook up.

I was glad to have you and your sponsors company while waiting for the rope drop. I was also happy for the coat-tail ride under the rope drop on the summit access. Patrol seemed quite adamant on cutting out the holeshot. 15 chairs back rewarded me with first tracks on Bombs Away, which was quite tasty.

As you know, I'm lovingly treating my bases with a full base grind, hot box, and an edge caress you wouldn't believe.

    See you tomorrow?

And yeah, Ice, I certainly hope to see you at some point.

Possibly but they're not opening shit these days. Fuck I dig skiing the "A" trees shits marked resort boundry and in no way avvy terrain. Fuck they probably roped off the challenger "B" trees. Damn the powder carnage that new shitty highspeed quad brought about on the front side this morning made me sad.
Lets put in high speed quads, sell a shitload of season passes, not open any terrain and have marketing send off another one of those no Crowds ads to skiing mag. I'd like to road trip up North tom. or If Deer Valley gets another foot I'd go there. I'm gonna run out of Solidays. probably go back mon. when high pressure returns and they open the terrain I like to ski.

I don't think those were pass holders up there today. That shit was full of the scrubbing bubbles from the delay on LCC, OR, and the first pow in weeks. I rode lifts with a couple of people from Colorado that came over to enjoy what Utah has to offer.

It was kinda weak to pull the rope back over the A-trees. Patrol seemed to be closing stuff up a bit early today, both gates out to Scree were closed way before the Summit lift closing. With the crowds that were up there, you'd think they'd want the compaction going on.

Have fun at Deer Valley, eat some chili for me, or kick Frozen in the balls if you end up in Ogden.

Are you saying A trees are now closed for good????
T's 5th bday and just did not want to ski today so I called in "skiing" tomorrow, though I will most likely be boarding.

    Iceman, still around Monday?

    Anyone else up for SoliMonday?

Planning to be there all day. Hoping HC may open too after a today's safety work, crossing fingers.

I'd imagine it's only closed when the Clem/Evergreen gates are closed.
Whated they open today just summit?
I'll probably be up tom. Earth tones and splatulas
    Phone perished today
Deer valley entertaining with some surpisingly good pow skiing today
with the lcc cluster fuck I can only imagine the Multitude today.
FKNA 100" lines are now good to go.
I'd hope they could get fantasy open this week if it doesn't snow

Today was a complete shitshow with LCC shut down. Not as bad as yesterday from what I hear. Front side was tracked out super fast. I don't know if I'd call that quad high speed though, fucker is slow as fuck. Only gates open today was MR and it got tracked pretty quick. I'll be up tomorrow, red coat(maybe gray)and probably be on proto Mavens.
