Doubt I'll be hanging with you guys for long, but I may as well expose myself to the maggot community.

I only have time and money for a half day at Solly on Mon or Tues (depending on Paedde's plans). I need either a PM Mon or AM Tues. Anybody interested in splitting a Solly day pass with me? PM if can do.
I like the 'Tude but not enough to pay 40 or 50 bucks for 3 hours of skiing.

Carnage and catastrophe day at Solitude. The day started out wonderfully, hooked up with Skiguide and SkiingBear at the bottom of Eagle early, (Well, early for me.). We took one run down and met up with the Lebowski twosome and Daywalker.

We headed up Sunrise and over to the Summit. At the Summit we were missing Skiguide, she showed up a few minutes later with a wrenched back. Unfortunately she couldn't walk and ended up getting a ride down, . Hope you're feeling better Lis.

Later in the day the Summit lift was closed down for a bit due to a heart attack victim. They attempted to get a helicopter in for a rescue but were unsuccessful and had to sled the guy down. I hope everything turned out ok.

The pow was good, although a bit heavy.

grumble, grumble, grumble. Those sweet pics are making the pain even worse!

more angry than anything else that I missed the rest of a good day, and had to take the ride - DAMN MY PRIDE! but there's no way I really could have made it. I'm just glad now that it happened when it did instead of back in Honeycomb or further out, where it would have really been a PITA to get back.

Waiting to find out about getting into a DR. now - always had some back issues, seen a good chiro in the past, but this is by far the worst I've ever had.

I looked like an 85 year old woman hunched over walking into walgreens on my way home. Walking still hurts, slow and painful, but i can stand up a bit straighter at least.

Thanks to the lebowskis for bringing Bear home glad he got to enjoy the rest of the day.

I didn't get the report on the heart attack guy though last night - that's news to me.

Get better skiguide. I can empathize with your back problems. (was thrown from a vehicle at 60mph and landed head first on pavement.)

    Lucky to be alive.

Anyways, Solitude was money on saturday. Empty. About a foot or more of fresh.

We, my friend and I, got about seven runs of consecutive untracked on both sides of Honeycomb Canyon.

    It was awesome.

I feel your pain Skiguide I did a minor (for me) jack of my back sunday as well. Not surprising after having an epic day of hucking & straightlining around Brighton.
    Get well!!
