    New years day!

    Eagle at 9-9:30?

    Summit at 10 AM?

Eagle at 11, should be a large group. Barring that, Summit at 12 or 1.

Hopefully I'll make it there too....solid dark blue jacket, black beanie, silver smith gogs, khakiish pants, the ugliest red skis you've ever seen with freerides on em.

Gadget, if you still want that monitor give me a call too if I don't run into you there Sunday. You can swing by on the way back home and pick up that beast!

I'm meeting up with Lumpy at Eagle at 11, anyone else around should show up.

I'm around. Powderhorn at 9:00. I'll try to be at Eagle at 11 unless it is too good at Summit to come down.

FKNA is right, like Trackhead mentioned, it was dumping in the BCC today.

I got up to Solitude about 10:30 or so, while it was dumping down in the valley it was actually fairly clear and not snowing much at all. By the time I got booted up and ready to go the gurge had begun.

I headed down to Eagle and met up with Lebowski, his wife and his sister. We took a nice run down the rope line on Inspiration, nice soft snow. At the bottom of Eagle Iceman and Iceboy were waiting.

I headed up to the Summit with the Icey duo and we plundered the Headwall Forest and Evergreens, nice light snow everywhere. I got a few snaps of the Icey duo even though it was definitely not photo friendly today.

    Iceboy:

    Iceman:

After a few Summit rides we were approached by SLCMunchies, he recognized the Bros and PM stickers. A few more rides on the Summit and we headed into Honeycomb. SLCMunchies and I sidestepped up the Honeycomb ridgeline past Cathedral (which was closed, too much snow) and headed down into Honeycomb. Deep, deep, deep...

    SLCMunchies:

Another great Solitude day, no crowds, fresh tracks, and good people. Definitely a good day to have a pair of these.

Looks nice. We talked about hitting Solisunday, but daPig (newest Utard transplant) bought an Altabird pass and after "dragging" him to 'basin yesterday, he kinda wanted to get some use out of his pass. Alta didn't suck today, will be even better tomorrow. Will definitely have to catch you guys next time I'm out.

The cold temps are keeping the snow nice.

Some was gotten. Nice to see Woodsy on the hill, too. It might have been slightly better if I hadn't been hacking up pieces of lung all day, but you can't get too picky. Bob's still out there right now, I'm sure he'll have some pics later on.

Glad I got to meet up with BobMc on the chairlift today and take a run with him and the Lebowskis. Today did not suck. I think I took 13 total runs down Honeycomb. And this does not count the numerous laps down Milk Run and the Cirque before they opened the canyon. My legs are shot. Solitude is an incredible mountain--today was an incredible day.

Bob, looking back at this thread, I think I pulled out of the parking lot behind you a little after 4 today. The Teton Gravity and PM Gear stickers are a dead give away.

    Today deserves one of these
