    And life returns to normal...

Got back to basics yesterday, MacDaddy and I representing the minion/mag crowd at Solitude opening. Low angle powpow...still shweet for opening day. Second "paid" chair, elbowed some 10-year old outa the way and cut freshies for a few hours.

Lot o stress fell off the shoulders in a few short hours of making turns...welcome back winter. Good lift conversations; ski, beer, chicks...life doesn't seem so complicated anymore. Summer just seems to complicate thoughts and jumble the mind.

    Good times...

Man, I must have missed you guys. I was up there from 11-3, even tried to drag Woodsy out for a run, but no luck there...day #3 this season, but my first on new gear, so it was interesting. I remembered why I like Solitude, though...nice place...

FYI; Solitude is opening Powderhorn and Eagle Express on Monday...

Ain't that the truth. I am SO happy again.
Went up this morning for a couple of hours before it got too crowded. Just coaxing the knee slowly back into shape. Everbody's so happy and smiling and talkative this time of the year.
It is going to be a stellar season.
