I wish these cameras showed how steep what you tend to hit, under any and all conditions, is.

I have a recently divorced buddy coming out tomorrow from Denver.

Hopefully Friday will deliver the goods for his first Tahoe trip, any thoughts as to how KW will be skiing inbounds?

Sure. I'll swing by and pick you up. Your wife won't mind me dropping of my son and his diaper bag. Sick.

And I imagine KW will be skiing quite good this Friday. Not a deep day, but softness should be in order.

What a sleeper pow day. Most of the time Corky and I had the entire run or face to ourselves. Our own private resort. We had first to drop in El Cap and except for the Corkster, I never saw anybody whilst in the Chutes except at the final common pathway back to the lift.

Squaw upper mtn tomorrow as long as nobody flips their vehicle on Mt Rose Hwy as they did this morning.

Alpine was the tits today. Thudder and I skied fresh, deep, steep, and wonderful snow until 4. Summit started running at 1:30 or so and the place cleared out people wise by 2:30 and we had run after run of virtually untracked snow. We skied a few places that would be tracked up by 9:30 most days, at 3:30 with no tracks.

Tomorrow should be good. I'd imagine Scott and Sherwood will go.

Holler if you'll be at Alpine.

Told the Boss that I was feeling ill. Yea, Powderitis, could be contagious and was told to get it checked out tomorrow. Will be doing my best to slay that tomorrow, Friday should be a good day, but tomorrow might be better.

Yeah, verily. Alas, MashedPotatoes must cover my pow-shredding duties. Let me know if you've saved anything worth coming up for on Friday.

Two years ago I cut a bunch of GoPro Footage I had. It has been sitting on a backup drive for 2 years now. I didn't have the technology to put any edits together. Now that I do, I didn't want this footage to go to waste. In addition, I don't want to take the time to go through it for a second time. Therefore, I just threw it all in, without any consideration for the quality. So if you don't like it, I don't care. Just trying to keep the stoke alive, and contribute to the forum.

Warning: Raw Full Season Footage, simply added music and titles, It's LONG, some shaky footage may make you vomit.

    Things I learned:
    GoPro Chest Mount Blows
I talk to myself, and squeal like a girl when it's deep (entire video)
Don't pole whack with BD 2pc poles. It will fall down a chute. JMETZLER going after it (10:33)
Snowballs or Ice Chunks can hit you in the balls (5:37)
Being pulled behind a car is fun (7:53)
Superstar Punani yells "What What!" before dropping Upper Cham (11:18). He also likes to land in bomb holes under Kodak (12:41)

At least a foot of creamy pow and still snowing in the Rose area this morning.

Also, as Mr. Toad indicated, all MTB'ers and well-wishers, please go here, click flow trails, and vote for Corral Trail in SLT. We're currently getting shellacked: http://www.facebook.com/BellBikeHelm...69747409753569

Yes! I forgot to mention that you were recording the radness! How well does that handheld video camera work for footage? I'm thinking of picking one up. I'm sick of POV, and want to get a difference perspective. I will be toying around with my digital camera HD Video this weekend. Just picked up a small compact tripod.

I agree. If you find something, let me know. I've got the home office, but my vacation policy is sub-par. Being 2.5hrs from Tahoe doesn't help the cause.

BETA REQUEST: Kirkwood didn't open 10 or the backside on Weds. What about today? Anyone that can provide any insight would be greatly appreciated. In addition, curious if they open access on Thursday or Friday. Trying to figure out plans for the weekend. Thanks!

10 is open now. I imagine the entire hill will open today and access tomorrow.

Beta given from my home office day care living room in Santa Cruz. Now, if I could just get a looser vacation day model.

that resort was prime today, EVERYbody was getting it. Sunday was less crowded. Access didn't go. People did though...MF's. Snowed all day, still snowing. Not much to write about how much it will snow going forward, but it will keep it fresh and soft.

The snow was knee deep, almost bottomless. However, it skied very shallow if you were moving with speed. Should be good tomorrow if you know where to go. After that the Death Star may take hold of it.

Good crowd of people on the side of the road skiing at the usual spot. Only 3 or 4 inches in SLT.

All chairs at KW spun today, and pretty early (4 was open by 10:30 ish). Palisades all the way to the Boundary was open (and it skied great). Not nearly the junk show I was expecting after such a long dry spell.

Palisades rocked today. Hit it with Vets and otto parts. Skied the Kusalas, fell in love with them and we had a lot of fresh runs. Hit the saddle, not as good, went back to pali and it had settled a bit but still skied great.
