I have Guardians on my powder skis, which I've been using frequently at the resort, and they feel just like a regular binding so there's no compromise. But it's nice to have the option to take short(er) tours on them. If I start going longer I'll get a dedicated tech setup, but I don't see what's so hard to understand about this. That makes a lot more sense to me than skiing tech bindings in-bounds at the resort.

Yeah, yeah - tech talk jong!

Don't even remember, but I'd ski the line on GS skis if that helps.

Has anyone been on any south having stuff like jakes? I wonder how the snow is. Squaw at least before noon, never softens too much.

    Thanks.

figured the duke owners would take offense but really just trying to save you from making an unnecessary step in your bc evolution. i'll take sloppy-ass freerides over those fucking clunkers anyday. and guardians are just as bad if not worse. and i do ski inbounds on dynafits often because i cant afford a whole separate resort rig

^^^^ that is why I want plates. And why I have Dukes. I've only done it about ten times, but I did not like how undamp the Dynas felt on well skied surfaces. But that might just be the mega rides and beasts.

Use the promo code DEEPSNOW, either online at checkout for 30% off, or at the Outlet in person for 30% off the outlet price.

Now through January 22nd. This is not getting the same sort of push as our typical sales so the crowds should be much smaller.
Thanks for the tip. Does this apply to all retail Patagonia outlet stores? I'm gonna go check out what's in stock at the Santa Cruz shop!

FKNA guys, well done. PD you better call for the next gnar couloir assault!

This was a really good day, and what made that entire lower upper and lower cirque one of my favorite zones around Tahoe:

Powdork, nice line. I'm pretty sure we ended up in the bottom 3rd of that last time I was there... sweet line, always wondered if it went from the top somehow.

TahoeBC, thanks for the sloppy seconds in the cross. It was still worth it. A friend rode Babycham the next day and said it was great. Maybe that was the cause of the moguls gimpy mentioned.

Heavenly to Gardnerville run was excellent on Sunday, as good as I've seen it.

This is all moot now. That is all.

that was us in the picture right above your post.
if it can happen that would be cool. i just got new gloves, but those, and the replacements i had with me today are both super warm, and that oe isn't any more. if not it's no big deal though.
i'll be in the carson pass area tomorrow and somewhere between carson pass and kirkwood everyday afterward. with beer for glove

^^^are you sure. I usually get an alert and do not recall seeing on this time around. But assume you are correct as there is usually a sale this weekend.

As for selection, it will likely be gone by now unless your size begins with one or more Xs.

The Patagonia offer is for both online and any outlet store. It's a friends and family deal, although they're fairly cool about it being shared. I have a few friends who work for them and they posted it up on Facebook, for example.

Looks like Bear Creek, next to Telluride. Is that the Heavenly 11 couloir?

Edit: not the heaven 11. Sick looking line, nice one powdork and gimpy.
