Skied out to Donner Peak this morning. Same wind slabs on west facing slope as Andesite yesterday.
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

It's funny that you made the camera angle comment. After that weekend, I consciously made an effort to lower it, and get more ski tip. Give me a few more weeks, and I might be able to post something respectable.
It took my about two years of fussing and swearing to get my angle where I want it. Its a little easier now that most cameras shoot at 170 degrees but there were times that I almost just chucked the damn thing against a wall. Have fun!

Woke up this AM (O' dark 30). Hiked for a pre-work lap up on Waterhouse. Snow is still good, but it is changing. This was my first pre-work lap since making my return to the Lake. Much happier today then those days that I had to clean the car off and then drive to work. Man am I glad to be home.
I'm cool with this, as long as you Kirkwood Bro Brah's stay away from Heavenly when 88 closes- TahoeBc

Relentless wind at Kirkwood today. Snow was excellent. First warm day will be fantastic resort skiing.

Hourglass Tamarack Peak was pretty meh today. Very wind affected. Only decent snow was the low-no angle lines in the trees on the way back to ther road.

Agree with the first (thanks for stoke), not the second. In too many POVs, I feel like I'm looking at my toes.

    Tahoe mags!

Heading to Squaw from Whistler for a week at the end of January, and I need some ski advice.

I have room for two pair of skis, and I'm thinking of bringing the S7's with DH bindings and the DPS Wailers with Duke bindings for a touring option.

The other options are the S3's with Dynafits or the Super 7's with DH bindings. I might swap out the S7's for the Super 7's last minute if it looks like its dumping.

    Does that seem reasonable?

If you see a couple dudes in Whistler Ski Patrol uniforms, say hello!

Assuming those are 112 wailers I would go with those and then a super light touring set up (S3's) if you want to have the choice and are seriously thinking about doing some walking.

Hopefully at the end of Jan itll be dumping again. Not much in the 10 day forecast. But there is a lot of snow on the ground right now.

Have fun down here it's the tits.

it may not be your angle, could just be the settings. if you switch to 1280x960 I think that gives you a taller field of view. 4:3 vs 16:9.

While I'm a contour fan, I think it's more so that chest views just suck compared to a good helmet mount.

In general, I'd probably go with the Super 7 over the S7. Especially for Squaw / Alpine.
