I can ski back to my house on AM access rd now. That aspect get a crap ton of sun and gets baked out pretty quick but corn should be good too.

Pretty pleased that they are opening terrain instead of closin it. They opened Oregon trail last year off Silvy then this little guy. Best would be north facing aspect of broken arrow...
aren't the empty lift towers white wolf?

the one you skied in the clip is pencil chute. there are airs into waterfall, but no mandatory airs. it's wide enough to make turns all the way down now.

Yes - I guess that would be white wolf. Didnt say I skied it though. Anyhow not the place I was thinking apparently its the flat above Whitewolf.

What is the area to the east of White wolf (or further down the road from Troy's house - away from AM). Does that become Forest Land again, cause there were a crap load of lines leading down to the houses on the south facing side of AM access road - looks to be the back of Squaw Creek.

I don't know if this has any relevance to Squaw--since Homewood is subject to TRPA and I don't believe Squaw is.

Rode the Heave today. First time I've been there is close to a decade. Damn that place got moguled up something fierce over the past few weeks. "North Bowl" was a mound fest, as were "Nevada Woods" and "Killebrew." Banged more'n my fair share of rocks, too, as lower elevation aspects are starting to bare their innards. Snow was variable, but decent enough off-piste. Should have some footage, but have to check with Countour Keith to see how it came out (we had a camera, but it wasn't mounted so we went for cinema verite/reality show hand-held authenticity instead).

A little bit of stoke from last week.

Pizzaforbreakfast and local joe look back at their line. Yup, shits a go for you peppered rollover freaks.

    Powdork drops into the Gulch.

An area I like to call Beyonder.

KFactor goes for a kick flip.

    Dawn Patrol dropping.

And from one of the best runs of the week.

More here, but you can wait for the full TR, around these parts soon. I imagine.

    ^^^^ Nice

Did you happen to venture out between the Sentinels? Coverage looks good, but wondering if the straightline goes through on the skier's right zone that cliffs out (Powdork knows what I'm talking about). I should be spending some laps exploring during the high pressure on the holiday weekend.

That pic is about all I got. I did not even bother with left of the spur rock, as the day coming back from TB, it was getting super loaded and we saw a crack. The next morning I was solo. Took the right ramp/ridge from the top to the cliffs bands below That was Tuesday. The pic is from Thursday, and it got me figuring I should skin up from the chalet one morning and just take a look from below. Or just hike up and ski the damn thing. It did look nice and full.

    ^^^^^Nice Stoke. Thunderbowl looks delicious.

I finally have the ability to edit the 3 years of GoPro footage I have. I'm new to the whole editing thing, so it may be a little bit brutal at first.......just bear with me.

This is what happened last weekend on the West Shore and at Kirkwood.

AM today reminded me a lot of Heavenly yesterday: lottsa chalk if you knew where to go, lottsa scraped off neo-boilerplate if you didn't and a TON of moguls. Everything off-piste is seriously bumped out.

This season is starting to feel a lot like CO in Tahoe: uber cold temps and lots and lots of moguls. Not that I'm complaining, cuz I'm not, but it is kinda weird.
