I think Splat is going to post a full TR later, but about 10 mags showed up and got the job done, as well as helping out the auto shop next door. Thanks for the pizza Splat. Hope it all works out.

Damn, it was an awesome sight to see bunch of maggots to show up at my place and build a flood retention wall of sandbags around the shop today so we could keep on building skis.
    YOU GUYS WERE FUCKING AWESOME!!!
So many thanks in so many directions. Talk about a feeling of maggot solidarity like I haven't seen since the mammoth minis fo the last few years. Good to meet some peeps I hadn't and what an incredible result manifested outside the shop and inside as well. I totally blew all my outside pics taken to document a full tr but I got this one of setting the Wintersteiger up on blocks.

Thanks again, guys. And a special thanks to gone2alpine's wife showing up!

    RENO 911!

Splat wrote a mushy love letter to his favorite politicians for all to see. Funny, I didn't take him for a PDA kinda guy; I stand corrected...

I was promised hookers and blow, but got this sorry old manwhore instead. FKNA? uh, not exactly......

The big rains are hitting the bay area now. It was all quiet when I woke up at 4:30am and has been picking up steadily all morning. Looking at the current radar, you Tahoe area mags might be dodging the bullet -- worst of it seems to be tracking just south. Keeping my fingers crossed.

It looks like things may be okay for Splat at PM Gear today. Snow levels already dropping and front moving fast.

Just rained as hard as I've ever seen it in Sac, a bit of localized flooding, cant get out of my court due to standing water.

Yup, band of strong rain stretching from bay area to a little north of Sac, but the heaviest rains don't seem to be pushing into the Sierras.

It's pissing rain in Reno right now. The radio, tv and newspapers still saying the river will flood around two or three o'clock, telling people not to go out. But we all know how panic prone these media outlets can be. We're heading in to keep working until they tell us we have to leave. Taking my diving mask and snorkel...

Snowing, and sticking, at lake level. Looks like we can get a solid say of low elevation snow.

Timestamp on your post says 11:59 AM. Not sure how you reported to us from the future, but I can confirm that as of 10:06 AM at 6500' in Kings Beach, it is snow in the air and rain on the ground. Can you tell me, oh future-person, what is happening two hours from now at Northstar? I mean besides everyone who can't go to any of the closed resorts showing up and clogging the place.
