How much for the LBD skis. Schralph needs a pair. And are the Red, White and Bros going up for sale?

$30. They have the worlds finest alpine binders on them. Hot pink Look ZR-1. He should be able to step right into them since he did with my dynafits. I don't have the red white and bros out there, but who knows

I'd buy those LBD skis if we can promise to have an LBD next year. We haven't had a *real* LBD since 2009! No offense to the 2010 and 2011 "powder day" LBD participants, PD included!

Anyways - I'm fully expecting a huge dump to hit Tahoe tonight, because I'm leaving town for 3 weeks, RIGHT?????

Will send photos and kisses from the Norge land.

Hiked up heavenly from stagecoach this morning and slapped the skins on at the top of Galaxy. 1 run on Milky Way Bowl which was nice and creamy. It was my first day on a set of cochise light boots. I still have a pair of marker tour F12's.... The boot tours much better than my old rossi alpine boots and weight about 3lbs less. Now I just need a pair of dynafits.. I'm thinking of going with the radical as its mounting points are a bit wider (correct?) Anyone got a pair that they are looking to unload or have a shop that needs to blow out ski gear to move in summer toys... I'm ready to buy now.... pm me with info...

You could also go with any other dynafit plus dynaduke or sollyfit plates which also give you a wider mounting point plus the ability to switch bindings back and forth.

Thanks PD but I'm gonna make these a tour specific ski... They are going to go on a pair of 185 BD amperage's

Sports ltd has em but every time I have been in that store it seems I know more the sales rep when and if someone comes out.. Also they are pricey. . Just going off my last 3 experiences in there and I'm sure that they have someone who knows his shit in there I just haven't found him or her yet.

They aren't the dynafit crowd, and yeah they are expensive.
I never switch mine out either, but still use the plate just because of the wider platform. now I have the plates on two pair of skis just so i can switch one pair of dynafits back and forth.

Mounting screws for the standard dynafit (vertical) & radical are the same width mounting pattern. I believe heels are exactly the same, and the toe in the radical is 4 screws with a slightly longer footprint lengthwise compared with 5 for the vertical. There's a model that goes to 10 on the release (ST), or 12 (FT). Just go with whatever you think you need. Personally I use the cheaper brake-less speed model, but then I weight 140# and don't ski them that hard, so... There are some discounts online right now, but dynafits in general are fairly hard to get a real bargain on, unless you have some kind of hookup. 20% off MSRP is not bad for the layperson.

BC.COM has em for 415 or so but I would like to buy somewhere here local as I'm gonna need them mounted... I've heard nothing but good things about alpenglow in TC but they are done with ski mounts till next season.. anyone have suggestions for me for someone around tahoe besides sports Ltd and alpen glow for a mag hookup?

Give Kent over at Watta bike a call, not to long ago he had some new Dynafit radicals he was gonna let go for $300. Think there in the back room now gathering dust after he transitioned back to the bike shop.

    http://wattabike.com/

He has some size 28 Titan's he will blow out also in case anyone is interested.

blue lake rd is open a ways much to the chagrin of the roadies as i looked at the frowns on their faces when they were biking past the "road gated in 7 miles". skied markleeville peak ne gully and it skied well even w/ 50 degree overnight temps mostly just due to the yearly avalanche compacting in the gut. not a super user friendly up and out right now though. the nipple looks pretty good but i'd wait for it to actually freeze again first. bout time to stick a fork in it locally.

most ski/bike shops prolly won't have much of any ski gear out or even stocked. if alpenglow isnt holding, i doubt anywhere is. if kent cant hook u, just go w bc.com and havem mounted at sierra ski and cycle works in slt w/ chris

Thanks for the BL beta Gimpy. Me'n Vets hit up Ebbetts yesterday and talked about/wondered what the status of BL Road is and how The Nipple is holding up. Out of curiosity, after the road closure, did you hike in, skin in, snowmobile in, or what?
While a bit out of the Tahoe sphere, Ebbetts is holding okay, but what we skied needed to be hit way earlier than 10 am (more like 8).

As for shops that will do ski oriented work in the summer, Start Haus in Truckee, for sure (they work on skis year round since they cater to the race crowd and folks who head down to the Southern Hemi). They carried Dynafit bindings this season, too. They had Dynafit boots, as well, but I'd check their website/call them to see what they have in stock. They also carried the Technica Cochise line, as well. I've had them tune and mount skis in the summer before, but I know they run a skeleton crew, so it's best to call ahead rather than just show up expecting the work to get done on the spot. FWIW, Craig Dostie , the former publisher of Couloir magazine, is the backcountry expert/goto guy at Start Haus.

Not quite sure about The Backcountry; they've had their bikes out in front for several weeks now so they may have shifted gears for the summer already. Again, I'd give 'em a call to be sure: http://www.thebackcountry.net/

ClimberEvan has one. Nice ride for Sierra trails with a sweet adjustable travel fork.

i have some stuff for sale over in gearswap that i am only gonna sell locally so i thought i'd drop a link here (tires, lap top). sorry for the spam.
    http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...-USM-f-3-5-5-6

it's also on craigslist. i've never sold electronics there before and am amazed at the amount of scammers trying to buy it. heres a quick rundown of how each one goes
    1. i want this. what is the condition. please get back to me asap (every one has used the term asap)
    2. what is your final price and working condition?
    3. Do you have the original box and receipt?
    4. i am ready to buy. i have paypal account. (whoa, you're not local?)

And the majority of them have a long text that is broken into multiple texts, which i assume is a limitation of the disposable cell phones.
