    TeleMike,

Ignore my idiotic full-retard ramblings. I must have been possessed by a North Korean dictator last night.

There will be no ass-kickings at KW this weekend or any weekend.

And please don't key the G55 AMG in the VIP parking lot, because I don't have one.

    Sincerely,
    Punani

    Now I'm just confused.

So... thinking of heading up next weekend and planning to bring my new 29er in addition to skis. Seems like a good time for a dual sport day, maybe I'll finish it off with a round of golf and complete the trifecta. Anyway, looking for some trail beta for Truckee / North shore based on recent conditions...

despite all that, I have little doubt that SuPu would have Owen's back if needed

Besides, if he tries anything I'll tongue kiss him with my dirty hippy beard.

I think we're well covered with some DR buddies, Skruffy Skittles crew, Tini and Shadegardener, but there is always room on Team Owen.

    Camping at Iron Mtn tonight.

Screwed around out on Houghton today. Beautiful day. No wind at all. Did a run off the back I've wanted to check out (the real bronco chutes?). It was decent on top then smooth firm the rest of the way. Had to boot out. Great corn on S. face of Houghton on way out.

Don't know why ppl call these Bronco chutes. Bronco creek is off the back of Rose. They should be called Gray chutes....fuck it, I'm now calling these Gray chutes

    Drinkies?

Hmnnn...^^^...that exchange was rather unpleasant...there is a "delete" button you know...?

Anyway, if you're around at KW on Sunday sometime after 3 (prolly) and you see some peeps hanging out up in that strip of trees by the orange poles just uphill of 10 (prolly), come on over and get a drink of Bubbly (prolly)!

    It's my frigging Birthday, innit!

Might only be a couple of bottles (Chandon BdN), so get your finger out!
    All donations gratefully received!
(Might be subject to change of Venue)

And Thank You TeleMike for giving Cinders & me a ride to SLT after all

    Let's go skiing, yo!

Bg I'm with ya! Never understood why everyone thinks the broncos are in the gray drainage. although that terrain is probably the sickest in that zone. The n side of relay looked good in your photo. Did you make it back there? Went to ski it on Monday but all the snow was blowing onto the se face which was holding a ft of blower so we just lapped that instead. Hoping that this lil refresher will spruce up that zone nicely!

Very windy up in North Lake but got out on the road bike still for a nice ride from Alpine to SB and back. Just for climbing beta, most of the rocks around Donner Summit are pretty dry (ie Snowshed, School House, Black Wall) and there were a fair bit of folks actually climbing. I asked how it was when riding by - they said totally dry.

Nice day out. Off to hit the river for some dusk fly fishing.

I was wondering who put that good looking graffiti on Elephant's back.

After some previous Monitor Pass discussion I did dusk patrol on Friday.
    Here is a link:
TR: Monitor Pass Dusk Patrol, 4/12/13

I followed this up with a Tour-De-Southshore today by skiing Heavenly, Sierra at Tahoe, and Kirkwood in that order. Corn is ready for the harvest.

Two different Alpine employees indicated to me today that April 28th will be the end of the season for Schralpine Ghettos this season...no possibility for May.

That was already the ending date for Squaw as well.

    Plan accordingly.

KW was fun yesterday. That race is cool. Good vibes. Props to Coop. Today should be good.

I had a blast at KW yesterday. Zach's and Sentinel were ripping in the morning...and for the most of the day due to low crowds. Eagle Bowl had perfect corn early on but the Wall took a few hours to soften up top, but was silky smooth at 1:30pm. Chair 6 skied the best in my opinion and surprisingly not much snowmelt in 2 weeks since my last visit.

Pretty shitty at alpine this afternoon, didn't freeze and everything was heavy and bumpy and slow. Actually wished I had brought the snowboard instead of working on speed flying preperation for the first time since I started this skiing endevor...

Here's what the Sierra Buttes looked like today. The wind was too strong to paddle across Upper Sardine lake for BC access today. 4 wheeling, hiking, paddling and beers instead.

^ Jeezuz. In most years that road is not passable by 4WD until mid June. Did you try the Packer Saddle route?
