Question Big Feet, Small Shells - What size Intuition?

Yes, I've searched. Here and at TTips.

    - I'm finally getting my first pair of alpine boots courtesy of my brother. When I used to lock my heel my feet were growing a shoe size a year, so I always had rental boots. Time to dabble in the dark side again.

His liners are toast so I'm getting a pair of thermo-liners, but what size?
The boots are a pair of old Langes in a shell size 10, sole length 323mm. I have about 1.5 fingers between my heel and the shell.
I wear a 12/13 street shoe and a 30.5 tele boot, with a loose 2 fingers between the heel and shell. The next tele boots I get will probably be a bit smaller.

Would an 11 liner give me more room, or would the extra foam take up space and crush my foot? I'm in nyc, so trying out the different sizes in a store really isn't an option.

My dog did not bite your dog, your dog bit first, and I don't have a dog.

Not seeing your foot of course but I would think this would be the main issue. The liner will stretch when heated but you can only compress it so far. The old Lange is pretty narrow in the toe box so It'd be easy to see you having troubles there. I suggest you pad the shit out of your toes and use a nice thick toe cap. It should hurt like hit on your toes when you mold it but will give you the room you need in the end.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

As I understand (from ordering liners from Intuition), if you have a size 10 boot, a size 10 Intuition liner should be in order. I wear an 11 shoe and a 27.5 boot and was told to get a 9 liner.

Good luck though, Intuitions are on back order.

Buy the Garmont G-fit liners. Thinner than the rest. Low volume. If you have issues with too much volume in the forefoot anyway, get the G-fit Omni liners.

I have 1 finger behind my heel in my Denalis and the old trashed Dynafits I just scored. The Gfits work fine.
