    Calfee bamboo bikes

Some of you may have read about it already in Outside's latest magazine. I just had to make a thread about it I got so pumped up. Since I am looking for my first road bike right now, I am interested in reading about the different materials used and how they serve a purpose. But this bamboo frame caught me off guard. It deserves the word I never like to say, "beautiful." Check it.

Don't expect any links or anything.

Agree that it's beautiful. He needs to sell those...

    Huh,
    Very interesting and purty,

I'm a very very happy owner of a Calfee. Super solid, durable, great riding bikes. Love mine and would only trade it for a newer lighter Calfee. It immediately ended all road bike lusting which is a state that I find very hard to achieve for many gear purchases and for me the ultimate sign of my satisfaction.
He who has the most fun wins!

That's pretty cool and I bet it's strong as hell. Wonder what it rides like. I also wonder if it gets soggy or swells if it's wet for a prolonged time or even in high humidity.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy
