The snow conditions were pretty manky and variable. So I think we thought "Why not slut for the camera".

I REALLY want to go back and ski the Z Gulley off the north. That is the prize line on the peak.

Yeah, we headed down the shoulder for the glory shot and then headed skiers right down into the bowl. The snow was super windblown variable crust and dust.

Yeah....what about the cornice hanging over that chute? That thing frightens me.

I guess you could travers in from viewer's left to avoid it.

Two hours north of SLC. 90 miles from SLC to Logan, then 37 miles through Logan Canyon to my house, which sits above Bear Lake.

This place is the polar opposite of the central Wasatch. You NEVER see anyone touring but the people you left the trailhead with. But there are mucho slednecks.

    Thumbs up

You boys are getting very good with the vids.

    The sking aint bad either.

Note to self, skins needed by spring for a few days up there, will have more vaca by then too. Plus beer gut is disappearing as well. All signs pointing to getting out for spring days.

TH, make sure you pick up the shovel APD is hooking me up with when you head down.

Get skins, borrow your beacon and learn to use it and Im up!

    Low angle at first though.

    Please and thank you!

On a side note, I know I will get out soon as I apparently hit a nerve and was told to "get the fuck out" today. I made a bad joke and she said that and then said "Im going to reward your stupid comment by making you get out, so go skiing or boarding while I let you free for my sanity."

She is tired of the feeding every 2 hours still and I guess I said the wrong thing.

So I cleaned the house today, got a kiss, and said I still need to go to the mountains!!

Now, time is the question and snow conditions.

Hey Buzz -- my skins are too skinny for my skis. If they will work for your chubbs then I'll sell them to you for cheap so you can get out. Let me know what the waist is (in mms) on your skis.
