IMO alpine bindings are the only exception to the 'op is full of Shit' responses..

I defy you to show me an alpine binding from the past 15 years that is a significant technological improvement over a wormscrew 997.

    (Look vs. Solly arguments aside...)

change the edge system for fewer blowouts and what breaks instead of the edge? rather blowouts than wrecked skis.
True with the big shots.. But for most hits the edge shouldn't come out so easily. I have radicts with literally no edges left.... Buttery fun but I would be pissed if they weren't free..

I would probably go with a gnar-horn-type device on the handle, mainly for declarations of radness.

Whenever you stick something sick, people generally ought to know about it, and there is just all kinds of convenience in this solution to that issue here...

I want a pair of boots with a "Walk" / "Ski" / "Ski like you actually knew what you are doing" switch.

I demoed the TECH TALK JONG! pro model this spring and their performance was unparalleled which is good because I ski in a wedge most of the time - bendtheski, 2011

I telemark ski and look at NTN. Major leaps and bounds in teletechnology, boots, skis and bindings. All these gear crutchs have made the double pole plant obsolete as a technique crutch. Try it the DPP on some light gear it will change your skiing, light is right.
