Anyone at Hood Meadows on Saturday?

I'll be there- calling for 3-5 inches to fall, 30-50 inch base right now, not ideal, but I'll take it. Should be soft... -kb

    What he said.
I'll be in HR if you're passing thru and want to grab a drink.

If you got a pass, might as well go up. Enjoy.

Have you been down to Mt. Shasta this season? I hit it for some of those Sierra dumps and it is a secret sort a spot. Only crowded on the weekends and lots of tree skiing. Lost my license for a few weeks so I'm not driving anywhere. Good Luck

Lots of nice terrain at shasta ski park. Some very decent pitch in places. In others its a snoozer.

But way skier's left of the main lift. Ski it before they put a lift in there.

I was thinking that the ridge and peak to skier's right of the resort would be a great skin and ski. In fact there seems to be a lot of skinnable terrain around that hill.

I agree, if you bought a pass you should use it. (I didn't, cause I can't afford a pass and ski around the west at the same time.) Tomorrow there should be about ten new inches when its all said and done. I don't know if it will cover up the hazards and basaltic rocks and stones and pebbles and roots and stumps and downded trees and what not off piste. But the snow Will be soft.

I may just see you folks up there.
