    Bend, OR Trip

Heading to Bend in a month for a few days on the river and some mtn biking. Any guidance would be appreciated in the following areas as none of us have been to the area before.
    - Fishing- looking at the basics, so the Fall, upper Deschutes or Metolius, if you had a choice what would it be? We have 2 days to fish, leaning towards the Fall and Metolius right now because they are unique to the area vs the Deschutes seems to be a bit more what I've fished in the past. A lot of benefits to all 3...
-Biking- Tons of options and have done some searching on the SR forum and one of the guys has to rent so we need to hit a shop but thought I'd ask...looking for a 20+ mile ride
    - Camping- Will really be dicatated by the fishing so we'll either be down by Sunriver & the Fall or up by the Metolius but any suggestions appreciated...pretty standard NFS campsites would work so we can car camp and have a few beers

    Thanks in advance

    Metolius area is just stunning
Campsites aplenty and usually very quiet after labor day
Fishing is challenging but also rewarding

Re: deschutes camping. For warm springs and below, fires are not allowed until after 10/15...I think it's ok on Metolius unless there's a specific ban in place due to conditions

Never camped near the Fall...just got a house in sun river, which can be reasonable if you don't mind bringing friends

    Bend is money.

    Rides:

    1) Tumalo Falls Loop ~20mi? Awesome ride
    Tumalo Falls --> North Fork --> Windigo --> Flagline --> S Fork

    2) Phil's network

On map, I like to park at the trailhead/pullout thingy just east of "Ben's", rid up Ben's, to WL Uphill, and down Whoops, Lower Whoops, back to Ben's. I think it ends up being 12-15mi, but extend or vary however you want. Infinite combinations.

    Fishing:
The Fall and the Metolious are sweet. Upper D is fun but for small fish.

Deschutes River brewery downtown and/or McMinneman's are both great post-ride stops. Victorian Cafe for great breakfast.

    Enjoy
