Not to enflame anyone here, but as for the "buy american" part...it's always good to make sure that chevy's not being made in Mexico before you assume you're buying American. I'd rather buy a Nissan built in Kentucky than a Chevy built in Mexico.

Chevy pickups are still built in the US.
But Nissan gets its parts from Japan.
No clue where Chevy is getting their truck parts.
But I'm talking trash anyhow, I own a WRX.
I just think the "retro" design is a little out of whack and half the "retro" vehicles are ugly as fuck, whats that origional things chassis? A fucking Corrola like half their "suvs"?.
The Cruiser is a Tacoma chassis.
It's idomatic, beatch.

AMC 20 axle, IFS, part time transfercase, same 258ci (4.2L) engine as CJs and early YJ wranglers.
THE subaru BEFORE subarus - it still sits in our drive way at home. I grew up in it, was my "parking" car in high school :-) Sucker can actually climb hills well and with the IFS has awesome flex stock :-)

Huh. From Car and Driver:
"The FJ Cruiser, based on a modified Tacoma platform..."
It's not a car chassis, though. I still think it's rad.

You do know that green hatchback is a subaru..right? It's from this lifted subaru page here.Originally Posted by LaramieSkiBum

Can't believe they're making a 2wd version. (pukes in mouth)
That is not a landcruiser.
People on the landcruiser site had a similar feeling.Originally Posted by phUnk
