    GO TIME

finally a bit o size here seacoast nh.

took the quad fins out and made the 5'8 kechele a thruster for better hold. worked like a charm in the warbled but cleaning/lining up chest/head+ surf. the 6+6+6 glass made what chop glop there was super smooth and ez.

checked the points and there were folks out and it looked good, but not big enough for me to want to pass up less crowded beach break shoulders/corners. ez paddle outs and some fun slopey connect the dots rights and hollower faster lefts. being a regular footer i just love lefts. backside roolz for getting vert snaps and if ya maker yerself surf backside more than all too comfy frontside, you'll be a much better balanced surfer overall imo.

wind is offshore now and my gf told me to not look at the cams while at work, so i'm not, but will probably start feeling ill by 5pm......

looks like the bulk of it is headed toward MD to RI. id bet we will see some good footage come out of the latter if this thing throws big. sticks out just enough and has a few of the only deep water breaks on the ec.

michael looks promising for points north of the cape. odd trajectory.

A Herniated disk has me sidelined for the season. (tho that hasn't stopped my buddies from calling and trying to get me to go)

    Enjoy, cockbag

shit, didn't mean for this to be a seperate TR, thought i hit the reply to the other get some TR, but i'll roll with i guess. i'll try to post some pics through links or from friends as i don't have a camera or camera phone.

well damn! work lasted a total of 4 hours from 12 noon to 4pm. the boss lady musta heard me sniffling/groaning and let me go. my ex gf had been texting me all day about wanting to get a second sesh in, so i met her down at rye beach and pulled up to perfect head+ clean long lines coming in. closeouts were limited which was nice. em was rockin out on her 9'0 getting some long rights. she was so stoked! really getting a feel for the new board now. that pulled in bat wing tail bites in so well for the lil chunk o foam that that board is. i'm believing quiver of one board now for year round here. amazing red sky tonight. buoys were reading 5.5-6.5 ft at 12.5-13.5 seconds all day. just about right for beach break.

4 hours work, 4 hours surf today. may do the same tomorrow....waves will be same with better winds.

sorry to hear of injury MMPG. sending positive healing vibes yer way.

it's amazing what a good surf hour/day can do for the mind/body/soul. like hitting the reset button. fkna.

nice, the wall should be breaking great 2 hours either side o low, or 8am-noon. the outer bars have been perfect so long as the swell is bigger than waist high. i may go there tomorrow. little more punch than rye beach too. friday looks great too as does sat/sun/mon/tues......and so on.

may not bother going to the vinyard sun-tues if we have good waves here. like with skiing why leave good waves to find good waves. ugh driving/traveling. glad i got over that shit many moons ago.

if i'm at the wall, i'll be between 4th-6th streets grey crv. rye beach right out front just to the left. parked along the road.

Ah. 5 foot buoys sounds pretty nice right about now. We have not seen that with more than a 10 second period in months. Like 6. Not to worry though, as fall is just around the corner and we will soon be seeing 10@17.

quite the morning nh. report sez chest high drops. ya maybe on a fucking mature african elephant

the wall was beautiful ohead drops, not crowded at all. had
5th/6th to myself for almost an hour before being joined by a few others. plenty of waves to be had with very easy paddle outs made for a nice casual pre-work sesh. the lefts were especially fun from far out right to knee deep water.

maybe a late afternoon run if the wind don't add too much texture. can't have that

man, nova scotia is looking like a great place to be right now. as soon as M turns around, swell from the SSE and ESE looks to be the ticket. even L is looking more likely to deliver in a big way, with a nice powerful sweep by with forward motion in the less than ridiculous category. enjoy the tropics.

    Rog-

I am dropping this west coast report in your thread because I think you would appreciate it.

4 sessions in the last two days totaling 10hrs in the water and overhead waves each day.

Surfed the cliffs in Huntington Beach this morning and scored the cleanest, deepest, in & out barrel of my surfing career, estimated at 4 seconds by an unbiased observer. Dude think about that - 1 one thousand, 2 one thousand, 3 one thousand, 4 one thousand & then spit out in a blaze of glory! WOOT WOOT

Then, surfed overhead Middle Trestles on the 9fter this afternoon, didn’t make too many friends but caught a shit load of waves and had some 20 second rides for sure.

Now it’s IPA & chronic time...

this is the GO TIME TR, pw^^^add whatever you like

sounds like you've been busy, very nice.

i'm drinking $.80 16oz pbr tallboyz. i would NEVER pay more than $ 1.00 for a beer unless i absolutely had to. $ .50 beers are the preferred.

rest up! may go buy a 5'11-6'0 better wave board for the weekend just to mix things up a bit. altho the 5'8 has been there for me so far......

Sitting in Colorado remembering that this is the time I should be taking surf vacation. With either coast going off I should be either driving to San Diego or heading back to RI to check out the spots I used to hit growing up. Oh well....at least the MTBing is good. I'm sure I'll get mine around Turkey Day.

this am nh was insane fun. in the 1st 30 minutes i found the conditions at rye beach mid tide to provide better wave/ride quality than the previous 2 days multiple surf sessions combined. lefts/rights were machine made perfect chest high. no speeding up or slowing down required. unreal.

one dood visiting from cali, a really solid surfer paddles out and sez, "holy crap, this place is like trestles minus the crowds. he wasn't complaining.

3 mornings in a row now, not getting in the water before 8am and having waves pretty much to myself. not too shabby.

    till tomorrow.....or tonight
