The abilities vary quite a bit, but no one sucks or is just an "ok" skier or snowboarder. There'll probably be a few that'll stick only to single black diamonds, the bulk will ski anything on a trail map, and a pretty large portion are the "big mountain ripper-types."

Except if MrNohills & I make the trek to Mammoth. This is exactly why I'm hesitating.

And the drinking pass -- everyone could print that out at home and bring it. Laminate it if you want at your local kinkos. Let's just decide which one to use.

The company that did the EC Mini stickers treated us well and the cost was reasonable I believe. I'd be willing to look into it and get 'er done.

Mammoth is more than worth the effort. Many people make a much longer drive to ski Mammoth for good reason.

I'm heading up with a buddy that's pretty bad... he'd certainly hold y'all up, if anything.

I say, head out, meet us all, and see what it's really like. Hesitate only after you find out first hand that you don't have fun with us!

Mammoth's pretty good for a variety of abilities in that there's almost always an easy way down in close proximity to the tougher stuff. Therefore, it's pretty easy to meet up with the not-so-good skiers at the a chairlift. If you can get down a groomed, single black diamond, then you can ride any lift and get to the same places that the rest of the crew is heading to.

Also, you gotta remember that this is spring skiing. It's a different mentality... It's much more of a party atmosphere then your typical mid-winter powder day. I think you're worrying too much!
