    Seattle area tree removal recommendations?

Have a tall tree that needs to come down near the corner of my property. I remember there used to be some Seattle/Bellevue area folks who did that sort of thing on the forums. Anyone have any recommendations?
    Thx.

I can talk to my parents, we had some people come in with a crane to lift the tree in pieces over our house. Dont now if you need that specific skill but if so I will ask

I own a landscape company and can give you some good referrals for tree guys that work on the side for cash. You would have to get rid of the wood though. PM me if that is what you are looking for.

Thanks. PM inbound. Though how difficult is it to get rid of the wood? This is a tree that is maybe 50-60 feet tall.

Thanks all. I'll try to take a picture of it tonight to give context. Its just an evergreen tree (I am not an arborist).

Kurt Fickeisen of Symbiosis Tree Care is a Seattle local, and a good skier type. He no longer does tree removal AFAIK, but he will be able to recommend you a good, professional operator. Tell him snoboy referred you.

He's not got the flashiest web site, but he knows his stuff... scroll down for contract info:

Thanks. Here's a few pics of the tree. The dead looking one is on my property, the healthier one on my neighbors. Looking to just take ours down.Click image for larger version.

Well, finally got the tree removed today by someone recommended from the board. I've got a pile of rounds on my lawn; anyone want some? Free to a good maggot home.

PM me for details. In Bellevue.
