Sport Chalet is having their big ski sale right now. I was just at the store in La Canada, and they've got some good stuff there. Not sure about the other stores. All hardgoods (except poles) are %30 off, including everything that was already reduced. Last years Seth Pistols for about $320, last years Salomon X-wave 9s for about $270.

Thanks for the news. Did you by chance see if they carry the Salomon Pro Model? Called the La Canada store and the guy came across as a total rookie; he hadn't even heard of the Pro Model.

That's funny because the guy I talked to sounded like a total rookie too. I think maybe they dragged him from another department or something. I don't think they have the Pro Model. I didn't see it there, just the X-wave 9 and 8.
The other store that has all the ski stuff is the Huntington Beach store (where I worked for many, many, (too many) years). I'm going to have a guy I know try to track down some stuff for me, so I'll have him check on the Pro Models too.
