You, neck deep, and bite me have certainly made your case that west coasters are more intelligent than east coasters...

You guys are all wrong though. The Midwest is where it is at. Havent you seen skier 666's video? You haven't skied until you've tried to rip up Exhibition at Wilmot MOUNTAIN.

I guess you haven't been to Nashoba valley. Ski and Stay packages starting at $150 a night: http://www.skinashoba.com/resort/ski-stay.html

Tube and stay packages are even cheaper!

I beg to differ. The seeded bumps at Sundown (my home mountain - I make the trek from Vermont each weekend) are THE BOMB. It amazes me that so many fools from CT head to Vermont each weekend when some of the raddest skiing in the East is right in their backyard

whatever... organic is better for the environment... even if it's more expensive it's totally worth it

You make a good point. Do you know if they have organic bumps at Mohawk? I'd really like to support an environmentally friendly resort.

Mad River Glen is the most environmentally sensitive area I know. Most moguls are an organic combination of mud, rocks and grass... And the best part is, they don't allow environmentally damaging snowboarders or synthetically cloned skiers.

I had a few sick days at Jericho Hill. Grew up 10 minutes away. Although the real xxxtreme in that area is the East side embankment of 495 in Southboro (seriously, 200 vert, 35+ degrees, alpine or trees, take your pick).

Hi maggots! Check the video tribute below showcasing the best mogul skiing in the country at Ski Sundown, Connecticut!

And as always, if you are tired of the juvenile high-school dick-waving sort of goings-on at TGR and yearn for a snowriding forum that matches your maturity level, all I can say is: "Come join the fun"!

Wow! I didn't know 6:30 could go by so quickly! I was positively riveted! Watchign those folks inch worm their way down that gnarly 20+ degree slope with soft bumps was enough get my heart pumping so hard my pacemaker took a crap. I'm selling my MSP tickets for this weekend. Who needs 'em when you've got the true superheroes of stoke right here. This video is now permanently on repeat on my tv at home.
I demoed the TECH TALK JONG! pro model this spring and their performance was unparalleled which is good because I ski in a wedge most of the time - bendtheski, 2011

You keep talking about fun with matures, and it's rather alluring, but without pictures and more descriptions, I can't really be sure.

So good vid Greg but I think more of your east coast skiers need to learn the double pole plant (DPP). Out west when the trail turns to a real black diamond and you need to check your speed the DPP is the best way to safely make it back to the Chalet. BTW check out these poles. You could put some Zima in these poles for a mid mountain nip. Yum.

I think "Glades" is the place to be if the avy danger is high. It looks like "Frank's Run" would rip out huge and deposit you in the snowmaking pond. No bueno.
