    Chinook from kayak

Just a quick photo and short vid of a chinook I picked up this past weekend. Was very unexpected as I was bringing a buddy out for his first trip on the salt to chase lings/rockfish, I guess my jig looked like the squid this guy had been gorging on. Only pics I have are ones friends took, and nothing all that great, but you at least get the idea.

    Bendo shot

Gutted back home. In hindsight should have taken a photo on the beach with a fisheye lens...

Short vid. Not terribly exciting but maybe it'll give someone a minute and change of respite from the work day. Audio is a little off, I'd mute it.

Hoping to recreate the moment in Pt Townsend next week!
Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

That's pretty cool. Nice 'accidental' catch!

Yeah, I wasn't complaining about a 20lb king, and the seven dungees I got in one pull of the trap were a nice cherry on top
