Needless to say, a knee dislocation is a major injury, and it's extremely lucky you didn't tear (or partially tear) the artery given the degree of damage you sustained. If you've got a sudden change in your symptoms, no one is going to be able to give you reliable advice over a forum beyond suggesting that you be seen by someone, ideally by the orthopedic surgeon that treated you. It may simply be that, as you're feeling better, you're using it more (and ergo the swelling). But I would play it safe...

Best of luck on your road to recovery.

Ice? Sounds like you might want to follow up with your ortho or pt.
I felt my knee rotate out of joint when I popped my acl. Did it a few more times on the way to the car. My surgery was Jan 4. Still feels tender and swells if I work it too hard.
I think dislocations wreak more havoc than your average knee injury.
