    Computer Help

Today at 6am I used my computer. After registering for class I went to the Shut Down option and went back to bed. A few minutes later I realized that my computer was still running. I went over, turned the monitor on, nothing, black screen. Thinking "Fuck it" I just clicked the power strip off. I come back after work today and try to turn the thing on, it fires up, but nothing on the screen, weird. I hit the reset button and it started loading and then stopped and told me "cmos error sum error- defaults loaded."

Uhoh. I hit F1 and it loads up. What does all this mean? Should I reinstall my OS or is there a simpler solution?

    Running Windows 2000 Pro.

    Anyone?
