Holy crap! I skied with Asia Jenkins years ago at Aspen. She kills it and I'm stoked she's ripping so well at the big comps! Go Asia!
Not "Go Asian," Punani.

It's idomatic, beatch.
Those green skis were mostly Rossi Squads (91s and 98s). The B4 looks similiar, but I didnt see anybody competing on them. For more info on the Squads there is some stuff in Tech Talk...
Edit: Sorry if I had read page 6 instead of skipping it, I would have known someone already answered this question....

She's been around the comps for a while. I had her sign my stepson's helmet seven years or so ago at the KW comp.Originally Posted by Cornholio

Courage + believe = life. Life is not about how many breaths you take. It's what you do with those breaths
No kidding! That's great! I guess I need to pay more attention.Originally Posted by splat

That USAToday article is great, especially considering the source! I like that they focused on Backstrom and Biittner, and they've got some sidebars and links that would be interesting to people who have never heard of this.

Great article, I originally missed the sidebars: here's a cool slideshow of pics. Good captions, and only slightly "dumbed down" for the masses. I think they did a great job with that. Plus, like, skier chicks are like wicked hot and stuff.Originally Posted by Cornholio

There was also a USA Today article in the print rag. Full page in the Sports section.
