    Looks like the http://www.transitofvenus.org/ website is down at the moment.

    Too many clouds for us to see it in Vancouver
    i wish i never chose that user_name

    I looked at the sun through a welding shield, but could not see any detail. I wish I had projected the image through a telescope onto a white background.

    Great event that also falls during a week when NASA just scored 2 new Hubble like satellites from the NRO. Way cool, because it = more space exploration via orbital telescope observations of the heavens.

    Couldn't see it in SLC due to clouds, but this video from NASA is the best I've seen.
