    My new favorite Resort.

So I've grown up in utah. Normally ski at beaver moutain and usually make it to altabird for a few days a year , log a few days at jackson and make some turns at Idaho resorts. Today I went to snowbasin and was totally blown away. Nobody there, Great lifts, lift sereved terrain as good as anywhere, and some fine poilished brass in the bathrooms. Snow wasnt the best but it was an Awesome day. I feel like a retard for overlooking it for this long. If your ever in Utah it definatley worth the visit. Ill even meet you there.
Sure alta got soul, but whats more soulful than a no wait heated gondola and an empty hill? Im sold.
Basin crew, I still dont know my way around the hill very well so next time I go down Id love to meet up with some of you.

P.S. this thread may come across as a little overkill. My bad, too many red bulls.

Snowbasin sucks. Never go there. Just in case it gets better one day, I'll keep checking up on it every now and then though.

    Wink

yeah, but how great can a resort be that hires some red-headed step-child with a southern redneck twang who was probably kicked out of Utah to begin with only to sneak back somehow after a tour of duty in hickville Carolina(no offense teledave) to be a patroler? I mean really, a resort with that kind of thinking can't be trusted.

I remember skiing Snow Basin in the late 80's, The only facilities were in trailers, there were rocks everywhere and lift tickets were only $22! The runs were great, but December didn't have enough snow that year. I would definitely try it again. I hear the trailers are no longer....

[hijack] I may have a day or two to kill early next week before I can get to the Jackson Hole Summit. Snowbasin just might be a great option for that day or two.

Last year, there were discounts for tickets if you could find someone with a season pass. Are they still doing this? What do they charge for a pass if a friend has a seaons pass? Thanks! [/hijack]

I like Snow Basin,I've skied there a few times. It's hard to make the drive from Sandy when LCC is going off. It's expensive compared to silver card prices at Alta,But Pow is Pow.I must make the pilgramage again soon.

    Go

    Snowbasin rocks.

Isnt it cool for you 'basin people that everyone who comes to Utah insists on skiing LCC? LCC is nice though in its own overpopulated, overbrahhhhhhhed, make Squaw look like a nice locals hill kind of way.

And all this time I thought Flykdog was the semi-retarded redheaded southern boy that calls Snowbasin home.
