    Feedback on Avet Reels

Looking at a set of the SX's for the boat.

Decided I wanted a Lever reel, and Shimano dropped the ones in the $200-250 range in the size I want.

Any feedback on Avets and especially the SX would be appreciated.

I have an Avet SX, I use it mainly for jigging bucktails on the bottom, live lining mackeral, and that sort of thing. I can't cast for shit with a conventional but I'm getting there.

Its a very fun reel to use, very strong for its size and would get another in heartbeat. 100% use in saltwater, no problems or issues going on year 3.

Ended up with a set of four Avet SX's on Shimano Teramar 7'6" heavy South East edition rods. Strung them up with 65# PowerPro.

So far it has been a real sweet setup.
