    No Reservations

I'm gonna keep this here because I don't want the noise.

Many people in the Padded Room or M, B & M would say that Anthony Bourdain has the best job in the world. I disagree.

His shooter does. Just watched the Havana episode and visually it was ridiculously well done. Wonder who it is and what they shoot on.

I saw that too- one of the better episodes with the beautiful architecture and the baseball coverage.

I've only started watching his shows in the last year, and they're some of the more interesting (and honest) shows on TV these days. I haven't seen one I didn't like.

Zach Zamboni is one of them, anyway. They did an episode a few seasons back where they went to his family's cabin in Maine (Milo, in fact. A Penquis Valley/UMaine grad).

    Check these out, too: http://eater.com/archives/2012/03/16...nes-videos.php

They really stepped up the production value a few years ago. They get really creative with their homemade rigs, and I know I've seen them using a 5d for some shooting (I think the Rome episode and Provence, France were partially done with one). I've been a big fan of the show for five years or so now and have them all on my computer (legally ). His new show, 'The Layover', is pretty damn entertaining too. Don't know if he's with the same crew for it or not, but I suspect he is. Very similar to No Reservations, but different enough to make the show novel. They do like to interject some of the crew members into the show every now and then (Beruit, Brittany, and many others) and spend some time talking about technical specs of shooting and planning the show. Love the show.

I've gotten into NR recently as well, and I also recall seeing them shooting with at least a 5d or a 7d in one of the recent making-of episodes.

This episode is called "The Making of India" where they do a "behind the scenes" while they shoot. Cool stuff.

No Res and the Layover are two of my favorite shows, I follow zach, tony, and a few others from that crew on twitter, it seems they have a blast with it, which I think really translates into the show.

I forgot which episode one of the camera dudes took out half the kitchen.

    edit:
here is the website for Zach Zamboni and Todd Liebler's company
