    Compact waterproof digital camera----------- RAW?

I need to pick up a low profile, waterproof, tough as nails digital camera to take to Mallorca with me in June. I would love it if it were able to shoot in RAW. Right now the toughest, best, non-RAW shooting option looks to me like the Lumix TS4. Are there any good options out there that will also shoot in RAW? I know I can just get a waterproof housing for any old P+S camera but that is too bulky for my purposes-- I need something thin/low profile, and able to take a beating. Any help would be appreciated before I pull the trigger on the Lumix.

    Thanks

    None shoot RAW.

The new Olympus TG-1 iHS looks like it may be even better than the Panasonic (which is currently the cream of the crop.) Depends on when in June you're leaving. If it's early June, it likely won't be in time for the Olympus release.

I know you said no housing... but s95 with housing can be pretty small still...

Yeah true, but its still just not quite small enough. Also, Im going to abuse the poop out of this camera so the housing is great for waterproof, but I need something shockproof as well. I'll be taking 30-40 foot falls into water with this thing in a zippered bathing suit pocket, and I think the s95 might not like that too much Im fully aware that I might brake any camera doing this, even the tough cameras, but it's worth it to me.

Oh my! Do want! I'll wait and see on the IQ... thought previous Olympus tough series had crappy IQ for their class, but this one looks really sweet! f/2, backlit CMOS, lens not in a fucked up place

I've also been waiting a while for a shock/water proof version of the S100 or LX5. Currently I use the Panasonic TS2 for my fishing camera.

It has very good i.q. I like the looks of the Olympus, but I'm probably going to wait one more generation before I upgrade from my TS2.

The IQ on the Olympus looks marginally better as do the controls, but the Panasonics seem to work better... and the Olymp doesn't seem worth the extra $100+

    Thoughts?
