Anyone know how Avid's MC6 registration process works? As in is each key a one-time use? Or is it like FCP where you can use the same key multiple times as long as the computers stay off the same network?

I think they finally went away from dongles? Haven't used MC6 yet but out of every other NLE out there, Avid is by far the hardest to get one over on. They have an intense activation process.

Thanks - they have moved away from dongles, but I have the same feeling as you that their reg. process is tough. Makes me think the $60 copy from craigslist I'm considering is more than likely a scam. Or I could make the seller hang at my house while I install...which seems like an even worse idea. Wish I actually needed it for a project and I'd just get the $999 symphony, but I just want to relearn it in my spare time.
